End-User License Agreement

The license terms under which you install and use the PD Signer desktop application and the PD Signer Bridge browser extension.

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Please read this Agreement carefully. By installing or using the Software you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Software.

1. Definitions

  • "Software" means the PD Signer desktop application for Windows, the PD Signer Bridge browser extension, and any updates, patches or accompanying documentation we provide.
  • "Licensor" means the operator of pdsigner.com.
  • "Licensee" means you, the individual or legal entity installing or using the Software.
  • "License Key" means the alphanumeric credential issued to bind a Software installation to a specific machine.

2. Grant of license

Subject to the terms of this Agreement and payment of any applicable fees, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on the number of machines covered by the License Key. The browser extension is licensed free of charge and may be installed on any compatible browser controlled by the Licensee.

3. Restrictions

The Licensee shall not:

  • Copy the Software except as necessary for normal installation and backup.
  • Distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, lease or lend the Software to third parties.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works based on the Software, except as expressly permitted herein.
  • Remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notices in the Software.
  • Use the Software to perform signing operations in violation of applicable electronic-signature legislation.

4. License activation and machine binding

The Software binds the License Key to the installation machine by computing a hardware fingerprint from non-personal device identifiers. Material hardware changes may require re-activation. The Licensor may suspend or revoke a License Key that appears to be used in violation of this Agreement, in which case the Software may refuse to operate on the affected machine.

5. Updates

The Software may periodically check for and download updates over HTTPS. Updates are delivered as signed packages whose integrity is verified by SHA-256 before installation. Updates may add, modify or remove features and may include changes to this Agreement; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

6. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title and interest in the Software, including all intellectual-property rights, remain with the Licensor. No rights are granted to the Licensee other than those expressly stated in this Agreement.

7. Third-party components

The Software includes third-party open-source components distributed under their own license terms. Those terms are listed in the "About" screen of the desktop application and prevail over this Agreement to the extent of any conflict, but only with respect to the relevant component.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. The Licensor does not warrant that the Software will operate without interruption or error, or that signatures it produces will be accepted by any specific recipient, certificate authority or court.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Software. The Licensor's aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount the Licensee paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Term and termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if the Licensee breaches any of its terms. Upon termination, the Licensee shall uninstall the Software and destroy all copies. Sections regarding ownership, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability and governing law survive termination.

11. Export control

The Licensee shall comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. The Software shall not be used, exported or re-exported in violation of such laws.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Istanbul, Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under or related to this Agreement.
